Halo’s mission on the remote space station was supposed to last 3 days.

Months later, she is fighting for her life, running point in a clash with enhanced Company troops.

In the wake of events that galvanise the connection between them, a mole is exposed - working for an amoral bio-engineer, who uses his influence to pursue his ruthless experiments in human augmentation. The ensuing combat, facilitated by a virus that exposes the station to remote hacking, creates a beta test for his augmented pawns, born of his own personal ego.

Halo must find a way to coordinate her newly upgraded assistance bots and the hacked station AI while wrestling with her own vulnerability, and a reluctance to lead.
