But soon after she arrives, systems begin to fail. The crew begin to disappear or die and the deeper she digs, the more she realises the problem isn’t the operating system, it’s The Company that built it.

When Halo uncovers exactly what’s at stake, her fear is that her choices may have accelerated the danger – her inner turmoil amplified by something far more dangerous: an unexpected emotional connection to Ellis, the station’s resident synthetic.
